Kareena Kapoor Khan is a Bollywood star in all meanings of the word. Contemporarily, the focus of the actors has fallen more towards the craft that is acting, so they've shed the star quality to meld into the roles that they are offered. Social media and the public relations mechanisms as well as their huge entourage of people called crews have also changed how the cinema business works. Now, the walls between a fan and their favourite actors have been considerably shattered. You could find the celebrities you're drooling over on screen hanging out in the same cafes grabbing a meal or perhaps going out to the same yoga trainer as you do. So the world has certainly become smaller and the actors have become real humans in flesh and blood. But Kareena Kapoor Khan, or as she was then Kareena Kapoor, still belonged to the era of Bollywood cinema where a star was literally a distant self illuminating object, somebody you saw on screen, had little access to and perhaps had fantasy filled dreams about.

Cut to the contemporary era in today's day and age where Kareena Kapoor Khan has made herself more accessible. She and her entire family are the darling of the paparazzi. Her children have been the most photographed B-town kids ever and she has chosen to concentrate on the craft and be an actor first, much like her uncles Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor and a star later.

But the Harper's Bazaar thinks otherwise. They've featured Kareena as the coverstar of their 14th anniversary issue and know that she always was and always will be cinema royalty for the simple fact that she has dominated the silver screen for over two decades. This cover is an ode to the calmer, stronger, and wiser Kareena and her completion of 23 glorious years in the business.

Kareena OOTD On The Harper's Bazaar India Cover Ft Bulgari & Bloni Atelier

Kareena's style game for the Harper's Bazaar India cover featured an asymmetric tie-dye dress and yellow rubber corset, which were both from the house of Bloni Atelier. Jewels courtesy signature Bulgari were added to complete the look featuring the Serpenti High Jewelry Necklace. Bebo was styled for the cover by ace stylist Divyak D'souza and photographed by none other than top-notch fashion photographer Sasha Jairam. Thus, magic was created by putting all the perfect ingredients together.
