Several years ago, the 88-year-old Oscar-winning actress opened up about her struggles to continue acting as she was starting to lose her eyesight.
In a new interview, Judi admitted she can no longer see to read scripts in order to learn her lines.

"It has become impossible and because I have a photographic memory, I need to find a machine that not only teaches me my lines but also tells me where they appear on the page," Judi shared on The Graham Norton Show in an interview airing on Friday, February 17.
"I used to find it very easy to learn lines and remember them," Judi added. "I could do the whole of Twelfth Night right now."
Back in 2012, Judi was diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is a disease that affects a person's central vision, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.
In an interview from 2021, Judi said that was determined to continue working despite her eyesight troubles.
